Hi,

I have a client who requires that when a user has forgotten their password they click on 'forgot password' link which takes them to a place where they enter their email address and then sends a link to that email address which takes them to a page that they can enter a new password.

The main idea being that the password is never emailed to them in plain text for security reasons.

Is your component capable of doing this?

Sorry it seems JUser now used core Joomla lost password function so I am afraid it can do everything that Joomla can. Not sure about changing plain text to another format. But probably for this realizing you will need in some custom programming.
